Welcome to Running With Scissors! I'm Heather, the face behind the scissors. Originally from Orange County, California, I've spent years mastering the craft of modern men's and boys' grooming. I keep my finger on the pulse of new, cool designs to ensure that everyone who sits in my chair walks out looking their absolute best.
While I maintain a salon presence in Encinitas, California, bringing this home studio to life in Adel was a dream born out of a desire for a more personal, relaxed experience. My wife, our son, our dog, and I love calling this neighborhood home.
By bringing the salon into the front room of our house, I can offer a private retreat. I specialize in men's and kids' cuts—whether you're a dad bringing in your son, or a mom booking a clean-up for the guys in your family. I pride myself on delivering sharp, precision results in a space where everyone feels completely at ease.
